The Hunt Group FD12 introduces the Pro Series shotguns for the consummate professional. Compared to other iterations, this version lightens itself up by utilizing a polymer lower receiver. Major moving components are still encased in the metallic upper receiver, so this hybrid setup feels significantly lighter without compromising the firearm’s durability or longevity. This version maintains the ergonomic features of the older models, such as a reversible charging handle, bolt hold and release button, ambidextrous magazine release and safety, as well as the ability to use AR Pistol Grips to optimize itself to the end user’s natural grip angle. It also uses the same magazines as its predecessors, and a slight revision to the magazine well makes it significantly easier to insert and remove said magazines.
