Oryx means good accuracy, massive mushrooming and high residual weight. This bonded design suits the all-round hunter who wishes to simplify the choice of cartridge for hunting. Oryx is available in most calibres from 222 Remington to 375 H&H Magnum. Thanks to its excellent performance, in a very few years Oryx has become the most popular of the Norma bullets.
One year after the introduction of the .358 Norma Magnum in 1959 Norma necked down the case to accept .308” bullets and the .308 Norma Magnum was born. In spite of its slightly smaller case capacity it is actually a more well-balanced design than most of the other .300 magnums as it is better suited to standard length actions and covers the same range of hunting purposes.
Features:
- Soft nose to secure massive mushrooming

Additional Information:
Since the introduction of ORYX in 1996, it has been a pioneer in our range of hunting bullets, and it has been praised for its performance all over the world. The combination of rapid expansion, extremely high residual weight and deep penetration make ORYX the number one all0round hunting bullet. When hitting the target, it expands quickly but the unique bonding technology prevents the separation fo the jacket and the core, resulting in residual weights up to 99%.
